Hi, I need 5 test knitters for this hat and cowl set with a nice stitch, it can be a great gift! The pattern is in English and Spanish.

NEEDLES  US size 7 (4’5m) 24” (60cm) circular needle YARN 100%merino yarn 2 balls of Merino Remolon of Rosas Crafts color 101 (Contrast Color) and 3 balls of Merino Remolon of Rosas Crafts color 107(Main Color) 125m/137yd, 50gr/1,76oz in each ball

You can use another yarn simmilar in composition and thickness

The test will be completed in October 26th (wednesday) for a release date on the 31th

My blog is back/ Vuelve mi blog

As good as my timing always is I broke my blog just before my pattern Crescent Sandstorm Shawl was published. I just wanted to change the domain, but I send it to the blog's purgatory. Fortunately the sales of the pattern didn't get affected, they have been reasonable good, but my blog's readers could not benefit of the promotion which was the 30%off in the price of the pattern till September 30th, so to celebrete the blog's return I decided to  extend the promotion until October 10th, to get it you need to use the code SeptCSS.

Con el sentido de la oportunidad que me caracteriza, justo antes de publicar mi patrón Crescent Sandstorm Shawl, rompí mi blog, al querer cambiar el dominio lo dejé en el purgatorio de los blogs. 

Afortunadamente el patrón no sufrió por ello y las ventas han ido razonablemente bien, pero desgraciadamente mis lectores a través de aquí no se pudieron beneficiar de un descuento que se hacía del 30% hasta el 30 de septiembre. Exciting news/Noticias importantes

This summer has been a busy one, I had a lot of work and I had also so many ideas. Because I wanted to share my new knitting designs, made in a very different way that my old ones, but I wanted that the fact that they are different really show up, after all they are my first independent designs 

So I asked to a very nice friend, the cutest designer ever, Sandra Cardona (IG,FB, Behance) to make a new image for my blog and my new patterns. I LOVE IT (I hope you like it too).

And it will be a new domain name too, in just a few days and last but not least, the first new pattern will be published at the end of the new week. Stay tuned because it will be discounts ;)

Este verano he estado muy ocupada, ya que por un lado he tenido mucho trabajo y por otro un montón de ideas. Quería compartir mis nuevos diseños de punto, pero quería resaltar el hecho de que son muy diferentes de mis antiguos diseños, después de todo son los primeros que hago de manera independiente.

Así que le pedí a una amiga, la diseñadora más cuqui que existe, Sandra Cardona(IG,FB,Behance)que me hiciera una nueva imagen, para utilizarla tanto en el blog, como en los patrones. ME ENCANTA (ojalá que os guste a vosotr@s también.

Alice in Woolderland/ Alicia en el país de las "lanavillas"

Hello, I must admit that I'm a lucky knitter, because I could get from Castelltort  their new Rosas Crafts autumn-winter 2016 yarns for my new patterns. I'm still working in the patterns but as the yarns are already here I'm going to talk a little about them, one at a time.

The collection is called Alice in Woolderland, that's pretty cool, is one of the things that I love of this company their yarns have really cool names. Every yarn is named after one of the characters. The one that I'm knitting now is The (Cheshire) Cat, its composition is 56 % acrylic, 20 % alpaca, 20 % wool, 4 % viscose. The first thing to say is that the touch is great, it feels very natural despite its composition, it 's lightly twisted and it really  looks like a cat, fluffy and soft. It seems to have a single strand , but actually it has two,  one is very thin, as a thread, and has different colors and thicknesses, making the yarn look " tweedy ".

Hola, he de reconocer que tengo suerte, desde Castelltort me han permitido utilizar sus nuevas lanas Rosas Crafts de otoño-invierno 2016, para mis nuevos patrones. Los patrones aún se están gestando pero como las lanas ya están aquí os voy a hablar un poco de ellas, una a una. 

La colección en sí se llama Alice in Woolderland lo que yo he traducido a vuelapluma como "Alicia en el País de Lanavillas". Es una de las cosas que me encantan de esta empresa, la originalidad de los nombres de sus lanas. 

Cada una de las lanas está basada en uno de los personajes, la que estoy utilizando ahora está basada en el Gato de Cheshire, su composición es : 56%de acrílico, 20%alpaca,20%lana,4%viscosa. Lo primero que tengo que decir es que el tacto es estupendo es una lana que pese a su composición parece muy natural, Está muy poco torcida y tiene talmente el aspecto de un gato, peludito y suave. Aparenta tener una sola hebra, pero en realidad tiene dos y una es muy fina, como un hilo, y tiene distintos colores y grosores, dandole un aspecto como de "tweed".

Como os había contado, después de haber participado en el reto de crear un diseño en 5 días de Françoise Danoy AKA Arohaknits me decidí a adquirir su curso Manifest Your Inner Designer, aunque ya había diseñado cosas en el pasado. Me gustó su punto de vista, muy profesional y orientado a la excelencia, estaba segura de que iba a aprender mucho.

Asi que desde hace aproximadamente un mes he estado haciendo esbozos, estudiando patrones y haciendo operaciones matemáticas... además de pidiendo ayuda a todos los amigos, prometiendo pagos en lanas y prototipos tejidos (no se puede ser pobre). 

Además de escribir en inglés, por favor ayudadme con esto también, ¡cualquier corrección será bienvenida!

After I  take part of the Arohasknit challenge of make a design in 5 days, I decided to purchase her  Manifest Your Inner Designer course. I have designed things before, but I liked her very professional point of view in the  making of excellent patterns, and I was certain that I will learn a lot.

So in the las month I was drafting, studying patterns, and doing math ... also asking for help to my friends, offering yarn and knitted goodies as payment because work needs to be paid, but I don't have money. 

And also writing in English, please help me with that too, any corrections will be welcomed!

Initiate Knit Design

Hola, la semana pasada participé en un reto organizado por Francoise Danoy AKA Aroha Knits, se trataba de hacer un patrón original en 5 días (aunque con la posibilidad de ponerse al día en el fin de semana), siguiendo las pistas que ella nos proporcionaba diariamente. Tengo algunos patrones hechos y publicados, pero me pareció muy interesante el enfoque de Frenchie, como le gusta que la llamen. Mi patrón aún necesita algunos retoques pero me ha encantado la forma de enfocarlo y me he apuntado a su curso Manifest Your Inner Designer. Así que espero próximamente poder proporcionar nuevos patrones tanto en castellano como en inglés.
